Anjini Taneja Azhar
Anjini has been a favorite of ours since she first walked in to the office as a kid. She has always had a bright, upbeat personality, and is brilliantly talented and creative. Her resume includes some pretty impressive credits, including major studio films like Star Trek Into Darkness and network TV series like The New Normal and The Brink. Not only is Anjini a terrific and talented actor, but she has also written, directed, and produced short films and music videos, and has been developing a pilot and several feature films. After winning awards for her screenplays from renowned festivals like Hollyshorts Film Festival, Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, and IndieFest Film Awards, Anjini has recently started her own production company: A Ghost Story. Be sure to watch Anjini in her latest hit, Young Hearts!

ACTING TIP:
Be calm and stay in control. When you’re on camera for a self-taped audition, callback, or booking, make sure you keep from fidgeting. Even small movements can show up big-time on camera, so it’s important to be aware of your body and what it is doing at all times. The key is not to be still or robotic, but to appear natural and free of nervous energy. Practice calmness by taking deep, controlled breaths before you step into frame and start your scene, or record and watch yourself so you are aware of what casting directors and the audience see.
SKINCARE TIP:
Exfoliate. Exfoliating the skin on your face and neck is a great way to even out the surface and appearance, by revealing fresh cells underneath. In addition to your daily cleansing, regular use of a gentle exfoliant will remove the dead skin cells that make your skin look patchy, dull, and uneven in tone and texture. Use an alcohol-free toner and plenty of moisturizer afterward for bright, fresher-looking skin.
